Royal Caribbean International kindly welcomed our Central Florida NACTA Chapter for a Freedom of the Seas cruise ship tour. Sailing out of Port Canaveral, it is quite a sight to see and the cruise ship renovations that were made are incredible. We took a lot of pictures of Freedom of the Seas for you to see as you read along. Enjoy!

The tour of the Freedom Of The Seas cruise ship began through the Royal Promenade, which is similar to a mall due to its variety of name-brand and duty-free shopping stores including jewelry, perfumes, apparel and shopping for teens and kids. For those with a sweet tooth, you can visit the Cupcake Cupboard for fresh baked cupcakes.

Following the walk through the Royal Promenade, it was time to see the Freedom of the Seas staterooms. First on the itinerary was Deck 12 to view one of the newer additions to the Freedom of the Seas cruise ship, the Panoramic Ocean View Staterooms. The floor to ceiling wrap around panoramic windows provides you with such a beautiful view, which can only be found on Deck 12. We didn’t want to leave after seeing the ocean from the Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom, but it was on to Deck 10 to view the Royal, Owners, Grand, Junior Suites, and Interior Staterooms.

We’d also like to note, that the Freedom of the Seas has Accessible Staterooms for guests with mobility disabilities and other disabilities that require the use of the accessible features. We were happy to see those as well.

The best was saved for last, The Presidential Family Suite, was absolutely amazing. The suite offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a private balcony with bar area and a living area with a sofa bed. The Stateroom can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Just before lunch we visited the H2O Zone SM kids’ water park, which is a hot spot for the children and adults that just want to hang out by the pool, have an ice cream cone and enjoy the sun. Following the H2O zone, we went to The Arcadia Theater. The theater is stunning and a cool feature is that they have 3D showings. We then strolled through the Vegas-style Casino Royale which includes 19 tables and 301 slots.

We were treated to a three course sit-down lunch at Leonardo located on Deck 3. Lovely service and excellent food! Following lunch, we visited the Ice-skating rink, and then headed to the top deck to have a look at the popular FlowRider® surf simulator. The top deck also includes a Mini-golf course, Rock-climbing wall and a full-sized basketball court. We concluded our great Freedom of the Seas cruise ship tour by visiting the Challenger’s Video Arcade, which is a fun place for kids to get away and play a variety of games. The room also welcomes adults that are into gaming as well.

It was a joy to do the Freedom of the Seas cruise ship tour. We took a trip on the cruise ship last year, but during the inspection we realized how much we missed on our mini getaway. There is much more to talk about on this enormous cruise ship, but we just wanted to give you a brief review of our tour. We highly recommend Freedom of the Seas if you’re searching for a Caribbean cruise. It’s one of the best cruise ships for any person, couple, or family looking for an outstanding time on the sea. Thank you Royal Caribbean for the magnificent Freedom of the Seas cruise ship tour!
