Covid-19 has stopped us from doing a lot of the things we love. Luckily, thanks to vaccinations and lower case counts, countries are opening their doors to vaccinated Americans. You can go away on vacation!

For this list, we’ve picked countries that are opened to vaccinated Americans and require NO testing or quarantine. Remember, the travel requirements change almost daily. While this is a current list as of August 2, 2021, situations change fast. Always check with your travel agent and the CDC before booking travel plans abroad. Also, note that if you plan to arrive from a country other than the US, the rules could change. While it is convenient to enter the country without needing to test, you will need to have a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours to go back to the US, no matter what country you visit. Countries open to vaccinated travelers – no testing required to enter

Albania Enjoy the Adriatic Sea with no testing or quarantine for vaccinated American travelers.

Austria You'll need to be fully vaccinated or provide proof of past infection and not arrive from a high-risk country to enter Austria.

Belgium No testing or quarantine is needed if you arrive directly from the US.

Belize Fully vaccinated travelers are exempt from testing and quarantine.

Bosnia and Herzegovina If you’re fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid, you don’t need to worry about testing or quarantine.

Bulgaria Show your proof of vaccination to be allowed into Bulgaria without testing or quarantine.

Canada On August 9, Canada will be open to vaccinated Americans.

Columbia Enjoy this South American beauty with no testing or quarantine needed.

Costa Rica You don’t need to be tested or quarantine to visit Costa Rica.

Croatia Croatia is fully open to vaccinated travelers.

Denmark While the rules can change for each European country, Denmark is open to vaccinated travelers.

Dominican Republic No testing or quarantine is needed to enjoy this Caribbean gem.

Ecuador If you’re fully vaccinated, you don't need to worry about testing.

Estonia The US is currently on Estonia’s green list allowing Americans to directly travel to the Baltic country with no testing or quarantine.

France If you’re arriving from the US, you don’t need to test or quarantine.

Georgia No quarantine or testing is required for the fully vaccinated American.

Germany As long as you arrive directly from the US, you don’t need to be tested or quarantine if you’re fully vaccinated.

Greece Fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to get tested to enter.

Guatemala If you’ve recovered from Covid-19 or are fully vaccinated, you're free to enter Guatemala without restrictions.

Ireland You can enter Ireland with no testing or quarantine as long as you show proof that you’re fully vaccinated.

Italy No testing or quarantine is needed if you have a green pass to travel.

Lithuania You can only enter Lithuania if you’re fully vaccinated.

Luxembourg No testing or quarantine is required if you've been fully vaccinated.

Malta If you’re fully vaccinated, you can visit these lovely islands.

Monaco Americans don’t need to quarantine or be tested to enter.

Montenegro Head to Montenegro to enjoy your trip without testing or quarantine to enter.

Morocco If you’re fully vaccinated, you don’t need to get tested before arriving.

Netherlands Americans don’t need to be tested or quarantine to enter the Netherlands.

Poland Vaccinated Americans can enter Poland without quarantine or testing.

Slovenia Only open to vaccinated travelers, you can enjoy Slovenia without quarantine or testing.

Spain Fill out a form before entering to be allowed test-free entry into Spain.

Switzerland You don’t need a test or quarantine if you’re fully vaccinated. Those who choose to travel are strongly encouraged to check local government restrictions, rules, and safety measures related to COVID-19 and take personal comfort levels and health conditions into consideration before departure.
